Happy New Year! Happy New Decade!
The last couple of months has been extremely busy. I don’t know where they went, but they are gone and it’s January already. I’ve begun to think about some new resolutions because it is always good to set goals. Last year my resolutions included buying more locally, buying more organic foods, and using as few things containing harmful chemicals as possible.

These were taken during our inspection in the summer. It’s a really large house, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom. The backyard is also very large, and Timbit loves to run around in it.
These are obviously before we moved anything in, so I’ll need to take more photos later (once I clear out the unpacking piles in several of the rooms).
A whole lot has happened in our lives recently, which may partly explain my very long absence from updates. At the beginning of October, Josh and I finally closed on our first home. That was a process that we hope to never, ever repeat. We were supposed to close on our house at the end of August, and after missing that deadline due to our mortgage company, we had so many headaches trying to get them to do their part that we fired them and went through the entire mortgage process again. In these days of banks becoming cautious, the term self-employed sounds a lot like unemployed.
Inside of the soldiers was the true strength of the new Unity government, rising out of the chaos of the war. The microscopic nanos created the new master-race, one microscopic modification at a time. It was said that the soldiers could not be killed; that they could dodge lasers with their speed, and crush a normal human’s skull in their hands. It was said that they had no fear, only hatred and obedience. It was said that they were hungry for the blood of innocents. Even if they were, no one would stop them. No one could.
I’ve been on a quest lately. It’s been an interesting journey, actually, and there is still a great distance to go, but I’ve been learning and trying to de-tox my life of man-made chemicals. They really are everywhere, and since I am not accutely aware of them, they are hiding everywhere. I know some people build up an allergic reaction to them, and it’s a hard struggle for them to get rid of them in their houses, etc. — but I’m sure that they are able to find them!
