Ah… tropical paradise. It’s hard traveling so many places, with so many things to see. Vacation should always include a bit of sitting on the beach and doing nothing. Ahh.
Josh and I arrived in Guam, and checked into our room at the Hilton Guam Resort. It is awesome. For the first time in our whole trip we had a soft bed. It was heavenly.
Josh and I just got home from spending a month in Florida. Josh was working at a number of the Spring Training games across the state. We stayed with his family, and got to spend some good quality time with them. It was a good time.
As I have been asked by several people to post pictures of our upcoming Round the World trip as we travel, I will try to start now by uploading the pictures from my last trip. I may even get around to loading some photos from my trip to Seattle, too.
At the end of April, until the beginning of July, Josh and I are going to be traveling around the world to various countries. During this time, we will be living out of our two small carry-on bags and backpacks.
How can we get by with so little?
Josh and I have traveled up to Seattle for a couple of days. Josh had worked in Seattle before, but I had never visited it. The closest I had been in the past was Yakima, WA. We just wanted to have a nice trip to spend time together and explore a new place.
Josh and I just spent the week in Atlanta for work, but we had some free time and were able to check out some of the sights.
We stayed in the La Quinta Inn Atlanta Marietta. It was clean and affordable, but the beds were hard. I was also not a fan of the window-side air conditioning.
For attractions, we checked out the New World of Coca-Cola, CNN studio tours, Stone Mountain Park, and the Georgia Aquarium.
